I created a teaser to commemorate the new site. It’ll continue to be a work in progress but it’s finally coming together. Originally I was grabbing test footage for an idea we had for a plstk marketing launch. I ended up using the reel to make the teaser for the soft launch of BALANCE+CONTRAST.

It was tough trying to jump start my career as a photographer. I got burnt out. And had to give it up because I felt like I hit a wall. I wasn’t ready to make it a career, so I had to go back to work. You’re too young to understand the significance of this year, but I’ll explain over time. For now, just appreciate how blessed we are at this point in time. I know a lot of talented folks still looking for work. The economy is slow to recover and it’s affecting a lot of people in a real bad way. Your mom and I barely survived this generation’s version of the recession… and all within our first year of having you. Talk about stress.

Anyway… I’ve been lucky enough to find a new project to keep the other side projects in flux. I can relax a bit and focus back on photography. So I put this short teaser together for the soft launch of the new site. That short break allowed me to come back to the table with a new vision. The video represents a sense of relief.

I’m stepping back into the arena, with a renewed sense of focus. Let’s see where this leads… you’re riding shotgun.
